The post examination Plan can be found here - Neighbourhood Plan
Our Neighbourhood Plan was agreed at Referendum and will now be 'made' by ADC and SDNP during November.
This represents the culmination of more than three years work to identify key issues of importance to residents and businesses as well as identify a site for housing.
The Plan contains policies which seek to protect and preserve, but also ‘grow’ our Parish.
The Examiner commended the Plan for being well researched and evidenced.
The public Referendum on the 11th October 2022 returned an 86.88% YES vote with 13.11% voting NO.
The question asked was:
Do you want Arun District Council and the South Downs National Park Authority to use the Neighbourhood Plan for Lyminster and Crossbush to help it decide planning applications in the neighbourhood area?
As more people voted ‘yes’ than ‘no’ in this referendum, Arun District Council and the South Downs National Park Authority will use the Neighbourhood Development Plan to help it decide planning applications in Lyminster and Crossbush.
Neighbourhoods with a Plan also receive additional Community Infrastructure Levy which is payable by developers, to be spent by the Parish Council on local infrastructure projects.
