The Green Waste Club does not collect for two weeks over the festive period. The last Christmas collection is on Friday 20 December 2024 and the service will resume on Monday 6 January 2025.

Green tips for a sustainable Christmas

Here are some tips to help reduce the amount of waste we produce over Christmas to ensure that it’s a time of goodwill, not landfill!

Please only recycle wrapping paper that can be scrunched, save Christmas bags, bows and ribbons to re-use next year and ensure that all recycling is clean, dry and loose.

Council Budget Consultation 2025-2026

As a district council our role is to make Arun a better place to live, work and visit as well as delivering public services.

Our resources remain stretched and will likely continue to be so for the medium term. Therefore, we need to make sure that we allocate our money in the right places to meet our aims and provide essential services to our public. The budget is crucial in achieving this.

We are asking the public for their views on next year’s budget via a public consultation.
